Bonjour mon ami! Today I want to tell you about the Try the World Paris Subscription box. It’s filled with Parisian goodies that is sure to leave you yearning for a trip to le Pari. Let’s take a peek at what’s inside; shall we?
I’m not sure what to think about the Chestnut Spread. It’s definitely interesting! I had never heard of this before (which is another reason I love the Try the World Box) but knew I had to try it. YOLO! The consistency is a little strange for me but the flavor is very nice and smooth. I think it would be perfect on a bagel or muffin.
I am a sucker for tea so the variety was a nice treat. I’m always looking to try new teas and these were incredible. They are bold but not overwhelming and the tea flavor is right where I want it to be.
The Nougat was another interesting new to me food. I don’t think I’ve ever had real nougat. It has a very subtle flavor but I couldn’t stop myself from eating more. I can see it being highly addicting! I love the nuts in it; they add a very nice texture combination.
The Caramels in the Try the World Subscription Box were probably my favorite thing in the box. They are so rich but not sickeningly sweet. They have just the right amount of saltiness paired with sweet. I had to make myself stop eating them so I could share with everyone else.
I love that salt was included. I’m a sucker for sea salt and can’t wait to make pretzels soon with the Fleur de Sel from Le Saunier de Camargue.
I had never tried apricot or blueberry jams before. I’m a strawberry & grape girl. But I’m so glad I did. These are so elegant and delicious I made a loaf of bread just to enjoy these jams.
Also in the box is a guide to le Pari. Where to eat, what to see and what to do. It’s the perfect accompaniment to these delightful bits of Paris.
I am beyond thrilled with the Taste the World Paris box. It’s definitely left me aching for a European vacation! You should definitely check out Try the World for yourself. You get a new box every other month starting with the Paris box!
