How to Find Your Skin Type

Knowing what kind of skin you have is the first step in choosing the right skin care routine for you. There are five basic skin types and each one has its own determining factors. This guide should help you determine what type of skin you have.

Find Your Skin Type

Once you have found your skin type you can move on to what to look for when you’re shopping for skin care products.

Find Your Skin Type

Normal Skin  – Normal skin will be smooth with small to medium pores. Blemishes are rare if ever and the skin doesn’t experience overly dry or oily conditions.

Combination Skin – Combination skin can be hard to pinpoint. It’s just as the name implies, a combination of multiple skin types. Generally the areas around the nose, chin and forehead are prone to being oily while the cheeks get dry and flaky.
