Mexican Wedding Cookies #Recipe #FortheCup with World Market

This is a sponsored campaign with Mums the Word Network and World Market. All opinions are my own.

Have you been following along with the World Cup Games? That’s pretty much all we’re talking about around here and for good reason….

It’s the World Cup!!

Soccer has been a huge thing for my family and friends as long as I can remember. Luckily it’s a big thing for my roommate too so we had lots of fun coming up with ways to celebrate! World Market was a saving grace for our celebration. They have a fantastic selection of international foods that allowed me to serve up dishes to cheer on my roommates favorite – the Mexican Soccer Team! Granted they were eliminated in round 16, but yay for team spirit! #FortheCup FajitasWhat jumped out at me were the varieties of salsa. Salsa is associated with Mexico often, so it seemed perfect for what I was going for. Then I thought – fajita’s! Oh fajitas are just so fun and delicious, aren’t they? I found a great citrus marinade and skillet fajita sauce.   Being able to throw together intensely flavorful fajitas in no time was great. IMG_1138 It gave me even more time to work on dessert!

You knew there was going to be dessert, right?!

Mexican Wedding Cookies
One of my favorite Mexican desserts is Mexican Wedding Cookies. I just love how they melt in your mouth and how simple they are to make. World Market also carries my secret ingredient, cinnamon as well as a good quality vanilla extract. They give the Mexican Wedding Cookies an extra oomph and definitely packs on the flavor. I used the cute little mini appetizer spoons to serve the cookies. How perfect is that?! Here’s my Mexican Wedding Cookie recipe – it’s a no fail recipe that anyone can make.
