What would you do-oo-ooo… for a Klondike Bar?!
It happens every year. Summer starts to rear it’s flaming head and that little jingle gets stuck in my head.
Every year without fail.
Maybe it’s just a catchy tune or maybe I’m so enamored with Klondike Bars that I’ve come to think of them synonymously with summer. I think it started back in the 3rd grade… Just kidding! I couldn’t possibly tell you when the first time I had a Klondike Bar was, but the last time was just a few minutes ago. So I am writing this from a state of nirvana.
See, Klondike didn’t stop with their original bars. They took it a step up with their Klondike Kandy Bars. With flavors like Cookies & Cream, Caramel and Peanuts and Fudge Crunch how could you not be absolutely blissful after a bite or 6. They’re perfect for enjoying anytime and anywhere. Especially on the road!
I’ve been doing a lot of travelling this summer and road trips are not great until you have something to please the tummy. At least not for me. That’s why we make it a point to stock up on – drum roll please – Klondike Kandy Bars! But there are a few tips to keeping your car (and yourself) mess free when travelling and enjoying Klondike Kandy Bars.
Tip #1: Leave the wrapper on! I know it’s tempting to rip it off and just devour but chances are you’re not going to eat it in one bite. Leave the wrapper on to catch the drips.
Tip #2: Have a cooler with lots of ice on hand. You don’t want these delicious treats melting!
Tip #3: Avoid brain freeze, but eat them ASAP because your road trip buddies will definitely try to steal them from you! Just ask Tracy who is stuck just dreaming about them.
We’re currently thinking of ways to take Klondike Kandy Bars in the sky with us when we leave for NOLA next month. I don’t think the TSA will allow it, but maybe if we offer them one?! We’ll see! In the mean time why don’t you head to Wal-Mart or your nearest grocery and pick up some Klondike Kandy Bars for yourself.
