Whether you are a vegetarian/vegan, or just want to eat less meat there are going to be people who grill you about your decisions. One of the most common questions is “But where does your protein come from?”

Since meat is one of the most prominent sources of protein, people assume that vegetarians don’t get enough protein.  The truth is there are plenty of meat-free options that deliver a healthy amount of protein. I’m going to tell you about one of those sources right now!

Quorn Meatless Meals

Quorn is a meat free solution that fits in with everyone’s lifestyle – vegetarian or not. Basically, Quorn is the simple way to make your favorite meals healthier and meat free. With less fat and calories than {most meats}, Quorn gives you flavorful choices instead of attempting to live on salad and soups alone. Quorn is also cholesterol-free and packed with protein, fiber, and essential amino acids.

The beauty of Quorn, besides what I’ve already mentioned, is that it can easily be substituted for any meats in your favorite recipes. While I’m not a vegetarian myself, I do limit the amount of meat I eat. Having an option like Quorn readily available makes it a lot more tempting to nix the meat for good. Being able to swap out meats and replace them with a wholesome ingredient is also a money saver, so why am I still eating meat?!

Quorn makes it easy to switch from meat to their products. They have a replacement for everything! Quorn Chik’n Nuggets are understandably popular along with their Soy-Free Turk’y Roasts, Meatless & Soy-Free Quarter Pounders, and {meatless & soy free} Sausage Patties and Links. There is something for everyone!!

You can find Quorn in retailers nationwide, like Target, Walmart, and Whole Foods. Check the product locator to find a store near you.

I have been browsing the Quorn website and Facebook page and found some mouth-watering recipes.

The bottom line is that vegetarians have a ton of options when it comes to nutrition. Long gone are the days of tasteless, gross foods – Quorn is making sure of that!
