Happy weekend! I’ve got the windows open and the weather is feeling like Spring here in North Carolina, what about where you are? Yesterday wasn’t as nice, quite dreary and blah for lack of better words. I decided to make a cake because let’s face it, cake makes everything better.
I looked around my kitchen to get inspiration. You know, that one ingredient that screams “bake me!” That ingredient turned out to be Kahlua. I love Kahlua, so why not put it in a cake? Oh, yea! I was a little lazy though and used store bought frosting; just to keep it simple (wink).
The results were delicious and since the alcohol cooks out it’s safe for everyone to eat. But, once you try it you may not want to share it – you’ve been warned!
So, without further ado, here is my Kahlua cake recipe.
