UntitledDo you ever wish you could go back in time, to before you did everything imaginable to your hair? That’s a wish I make everyday but my fairy godmother has yet to grant it. Luckily there are other options besides shaving it all off and starting fresh (I don’t have that much courage.) Alberto V05 has come out with their Salon Series designed to nourish, repair and revive overprocessed hair.

I’ve been dying my hair since I was 14 years old; I’m now 32. If you don’t want to do the math that’s 18 years. 18 years of perms, semi and permanent hair dyes and lots of heat and products. Needless to say my hair has seen better days. When I squeeze it it sounds like I’m squeezing straw. Crispy, crunchy straw. That’s not at all what I want my hair to look, feel or sound like.

Albert V05 Salon Series Review

I wanted to take the V05 challenge to see if there was any hope for my hair. I had never really used the brand outside of childhood. I do remember using it when I was younger and it was a pretty orange color. Boy have they come a long way since then!

Recently I’ve switched all of my hair care products to V05 and just after a few times my hair feels softer and is starting to look healthier. It’s also so much more manageable. I’m definitely loving this new line.

I think my favorite item in the series has to be the Hot Oil Therapy. With my fried hair I was in definite need of some hair therapy. The V05 Hot Oil Therapy left my hair feeling so soft and healthy I couldn’t believe it. There’s no crazy directions either – simply warm it up, apply to your hair and rinse after a minute then shampoo as usual.

Albert V05 Salon Series ReviewThe combination of V05 products is bringing my hair back to life. Even the frizziness has gone down significantly. What’s even more is how affordable V05 products are. I can get salon quality hair on a shoestring budget. Can you say win?!

You’ll find V05 products in most national retailers and you can find a full list of retailers here. Visit VO5HairCare.com and connect with them on Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram and Twitter.
